Volunteer: Fresh Air Home Family Fun Day! 4/18Make a Difference with SASF! We’re looking for 3–4 volunteers to join the Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation for a special visit bringing joy to children and young adults with disabilities. This one-hour experience is something the kids truly look forward to—and it’s always incredibly heartwarming for everyone involved. We need at least 2 approved dog walkers! Location: Fresh Air Home 36 Barkers Island Rd, Southampton, NY 11968 Time: 2:00 pm -3:15 pm If you’re interested, please sign up and be part of something meaningful! These events give our animals incredible visibility in a high-traffic, pet-loving environment but they can’t shine without you.When you volunteer at Petco you're: Introducing families to their future best friendSharing each animal’s unique storyAnswering questions as a shelter and animal ambassadorCreating the moment that turns “just looking” into “we’ll take them home”Your presence directly increases adoptions. We have an incredible opportunity to be part of the US Open Golf Championship at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club—all while raising money for our shelter! We’re looking to see how many volunteers would be interested in joining us. We have the chance to run a concession stand for one day or even the entire week, depending on participation! Event Dates: Monday, June 15th – Sunday, June 21st What to Expect: Help run a concession stand during the event Have fun while supporting a great cause Scheduling with 2–3 shifts per day (depending on the stand) Important Requirements: Background check required Completion of a safety class (week prior) Serious inquiries only – we will be charged for any volunteer no-shows This is such a fun and unique way to support the shelter while being part of a major event!
