In celebration of National Adopt a Shelter Pet Day (April 30th) and to kick-off the Adopt a Shelter Pet week, we will be hosting an open house! Of course we will have adoptables, light refreshments, and activities! This is a family friendly event!
There are a variety of opportunities you can help with:
- Bake Sale: you can prepare a baked item or assist with the bake sale table.
- Dog Walking: we will have a list of approved dogs to interact with visitors that you can walk around with.
- Cats: assist visitors with tours of our cat rooms.
- Education: share our mission with visitors. Can talk about our ambassador program, dog day out, fostering, and volunteering,
- Toy Workshop/ crafts: interact with kids and make crafts. The toy workshop will be making enrichment toys for the animals here at the shelter.
