Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation “Paw Partners" Volunteer Referral Program
At Southampton Animal Shelter, we know that great volunteers know other great people. The "Paw Partners" program encourages our current volunteer family to invite friends, neighbors, or family members to join our mission.
How It Works
- Pick Up a Referral Card
Visit the front desk at SASF or our volunteer coordinator to get your referral card to share with your new shelter buddy. The referral card will have a link to the Volunteer Portal. - Invite Your Friend to Volunteer
Share your card with someone who would love walking dogs, cuddling cats, fundraising, or helping with events. - They Sign Up + Show Up
Once your referred buddy completes orientation and volunteers you qualify for the reward!
Volunteer Rewards
For every successful referral, you receive:
- SASF T-shirt
Refer 3 or more friends in a year and earn the title of “Volunteer Ambassador” and you'll receive:
- $50 Gift Card to Hampton Coffee Company or a local pet store
How to Join
- Visit the front desk or email volunteer@sasf.org for your referral materials.
- Encourage your friend to mention your name on their application or when they attend orientation.
