Cat Trapping Class, April 6

Calendar Happens On Apr 6, 2022
Time 11am-12pm
Expired

Description

We are entering kitten season, and we have a huge need for volunteers to trap cats and kittens and bring them to SASF to be neutered!

Tracy McLaren, our Advo-Cat Program Manager, will provide training, traps, food and supplies.

TNR is a nonlethal population control in which entire colonies of feral and/or stray cats are humanely trapped, vaccinated, ear-tipped and neutered by veterinarians. Kittens and cats who are tame enough will be evaluated and possibly put up for adoption to a forever home. Adult cats are returned to their original location to live out healthy lives under the watchful care of TNR teams.
