SASF will host adoption events in the Subaru Auto Show "Pet Park" on April 15 and 22. The show will be held at the Javits Center, located on 11th Avenue between 34th Street and 38th Street in Manhattan.
Nicole Tumilowicz, SASF marketing director, will provide transportation for volunteers to and from the events. Volunteers and staff will leave from the shelter parking lot by 7am on each day and will return in the early evening. The events at the Javits end at 3pm.
**All attendees must be vaccinated against COVID in order to gain access to the venue/event. Physical Vaccination Card (photo will NOT be accepted), New York State Excelsior Pass, Clear Digital Vaccine Card, or Government digital vaccine proof from outside New York State.**
What does a Subaru Auto Show Pet Adoption event look like, how does it work?

- The pet adoption takes place in the Subaru auto show display, on the show floor in a a custom built “pet park”.
- The pet park is designed to keep the animals safe, while allowing auto show attendees to interact with the animals in a secure, controlled environment.
